Spring Updates in the Bathroom

     Do you decorate your bathroom? I'm not talking about basic decorating. I mean, do you change things out for the seasons?

     I'm not one to decorate for Valentines day or St. Patrick's day but I do like to update things throughout the year. I keep a basket in my linen closet with the things I use for each season so that its an easy thing to. Spending hours or days on seasonal decorating is probably not the wisest use of time but keeping a few things on hand to make the process quick and easy makes this doable.

     This year I pulled out a few things from last year but since I updated the colors in the space this past year I had to come up with a few more things. Remember, this space is gray which can be a cool color. My goal was to use accessories to help warm the space up. I did this by adding texture.

I bought the wall plaque at Target. It was a little too distressed so I added just a light wash of white craft paint to brighten it up just enough so that it made sense with all of the white in the room.

A table charger adds a bit of texture to the shelf area and this is layered with a mirror and little wreath. {I will share a tutorial for this later in the week.}

     The 'spring' bunting was made last year and is apart of my closet stash.

If you missed my bathroom reveal and want to see how I did the ceiling, check out this post.

       Thanks for stopping by! I hope that by decorating for spring, it actually hurries the whole spring process along! ;)  I'm so done with snow for this year!
