I finally had to go back to work today. I could totally get used to staying home. I love my job but staying in your jammies has a certain appeal too! :)
Today I want to show you a fun and easy way to update wooden frames. I wanted to add a little sparkle to my winter decor and decided silver was it!
If you saw my last post you may have noticed the silver frames on my hutch. These frames were super cheap on clearance from Hobby Lobby but in their original state weren't quite what I was looking for.
I've used silver Rub n' Buff before but to change out old hardware when we redid the kitchen. I decided to try it out on these picture frames. This turned out to be a really easy way to update them. Not that they were bad originally, just not what I wanted.
If you want to try this, be sure to follow the directions on Rub n' Buff for use and ventilation. {I bought my tube at Michaels~it was less than $5.00, I can't remember how much for sure though!}.
I used a soft cloth and simply rubbed the silver into the frame, no prepping required!
That was an easy transformation! Now I'm wondering what other things Rub n' Buff can transform!?!
